Our location - Upper Moutere
We are a little off the beaten track, away from the busy and crowded
tourist centres but still near and central to the attractions of the
Nelson-Tasman area. It's ideal for all who like spending several days in the
Nelson region, going on day trips, a must for wine and country lovers, a base
for trampers or fishermen and for visitors to the Abel Tasman National Park.
A place of people for people
Shortly after your arrival you will notice how easy it is to relax,
wind down and be yourself in our B&B. The Gingerbread House is a home of
people for people. There is nothing artificial, museum-like or put on about the
place or the people in it. All ages, nationalities and backgrounds enjoy being
in our cosy and homely family home with its warm, natural and welcoming
atmosphere. The Gingerbread House is a place where people live, work, share,
laugh, talk, enjoy good food and company and do professional hosting at the
same time. A house of outstanding charm and character, with many little details
of beauty and care.
We are family-friendly and welcome children
We have plenty of indoor and outdoor space, toys and books, cot, extra
mattress or bedding, night light and toilet seat. We know the needs of parents
and their little ones and can give you ideas on what to do and where to go.
